May Blue

...gorgeous days of early May....evening cloud dalliance over the winter wheat field. Acrylic collage painting on heavy archival paper 11 x 15 inches, image size 10 x 11 inches.

This work started with the top sheet of blue, which had a hole in it due to a tearing of the paper.....you can see that tear just to the left of the cloud at center....it was very important to have that tear there....it pleased me to no end.

This one was also recorded in video and it's on YouTube....but unfortunately, the background music was muted. Type Harry Stooshinoff into YouTube search for all my process videos.

2 paintings from the end of April

This is always such a bittersweet time. Spring is very special and the early stage especially seems to hold so much promise. The cool days that reveal the first bits of growth are to be savoured....full heat arrives quickly enough.

There is video footage documenting the last stages of each of these paintings on YouTube.   https://youtu.be/iVZTwFvBEs4    Or...just type in Harry Stooshinoff into the YouTube search bar and you'll see a large selection.
