Evening Formation

I often walk on the highway as well as the sideroads....you get a  more open view of the sky. There is a small series of sky paintings; this strange vertical formation caught my attention....the sky was very still just before darkness started to fall.

Acrylic on unprimed Stonehenge, 7.75 x 9 inches.

    This definitely is a very strange cloud formation, but it lends itself to a beautiful composition.

    Love that composition with just a thread of landscape on the bottom of the canvas..
