Fallow, Late August

I just now finished my 2nd one in this series. These are just a touch bigger...and a bit different. I'm quite glad that the work changes subtly over time, with little plan from me.....little hunches are enough to move things forward. 11 x 14 inches, acrylic and pencil on gessoed Whatman paper.

  1. Hi Harry
Checking into your blog often, I continue to be fascinated by the "markings" that are visible in your paintings. Your creations are so interesting and beguiling.

  2. Thank you, Steven. It's been a productive summer. I think I pretty much kept to my plan of doing one per day. You'll see more of the daily work if you find me on Facebook.
