The Mystery
The boy sat in the tree on an early summer day, peaceful and alone...he liked to come here. On this day some sort of unusual insight came, some shift from the way things normally were.....some rift in the way the world was. Although very strange, there was no danger here. It was all a new mystery that made him smile, and follow along. But he knew he could not hold on, that he was allowed only a glimpse. He told himself to remember, even as he knew instantly that he would forget, and quickly. He was a sweet boy, well loved, enjoying his adventures. He remembers the forgetting...but not so clearly.......and not the thing seen....
