The End

A spot I drive by every day....this road just ends at the base of the big hill. I very much like that my area remains farmland with not too many encroachments in the name of development. This can still be the land of the odd.

4" x 4" acrylic collage painting, external paper size 5" x 5", now listed on Etsy.

  1. Often, my favourite parts of your paintings are the straight lines and angles representing human encroachment -- and I especially like the symbolism embodied by these lines in The End.

  2. Thanks, Charlene. True enough....this whole place has been changed in hundreds of ways and what I'm often painting is the land in interaction with man. In this region the major changes happened in the last 200 years. Hopefully the place will remain liveable for some time yet.
